Election Round-Up

1) Who cares about the seagulls squabbling over the carcass? It makes no difference on so many key policy issues who gets into bed with whom. When it comes to policies on immigration, law and order, the Uman Rites Act and so on, our position is dictated by the EU and it is irrelevant who wakes up to boiled egg and soldiers at Number 10. The election merely recruits the team to execute EU policy locally. Whoever we elect, they will not “govern” the country until we get the hell out of the EU.

2) Sickening to see Clegg looking smarmy, waiting to see who will come grovelling.  He is the nerdy bloke in a jumper you have to let join your band – he can’t sing, he can’t play guitar and he isn’t cool – but he has a van! You have to be nice to him until you get what you want then he can **** off back to Chess Club with the other geeks.

3) I read some madness about the possibility of a Conservative/Lib Dem alliance. You what? Lib Dems are just Labour but a bit more left wing (i.e. worse). The Conservatives have more in common with Labour than with the LibDems! No matter how desperate you are to have “British Prime Minister” on your business card, you can’t form an alliance with some shower who have a totally different view on how society should be run – that is a betrayal of the people who voted for you in favour of your own career advancement. Who the hell votes Conservative and would be happy to get the Lib Dems as a consolation prize?

4) People who talk UKIP in the pub for months on end and then vote Conservative on the day should be hit with a big stick. *******s who shall remain nameless. Ian.
